It's a brand new year and with the new year come new hopes and dreams of becoming successful.
Unfortunately, just like New Year's Resolutions, 99% of the hopes and dreams for new internet marketers will be left unfulfilled at the end of the year.
Why?
You won't like the answer but I'll tell you anyway.
Like New Year's Resolutions, to achieve your your hopes and dreams you have to leave your comfort zone and change what you're doing.
You see, your hope to become successful and your dreams of how your life will be when you are successful give you the desire and drive to try to make it happen and the perseverance to continue trying for awhile. Unfortunately, your hopes and dreams alone won't make it happen.
Becoming a successful internet marketer is just like becoming successful at playing an instrument, playing golf, cooking and everything else that requires training and technique.
Whether you call them masters, experts, great artists or gurus, they all started with a dream. And to achieve their dream they all learned the fundamentals. And then, when they knew the basics, they started applying their own techniques until they found the 1 that made them unique and great.
To become a successful internet marketer is no different. You have to learn the basics. You have to make a plan to implement the things you've learned. And you have to find your own techniques that make you unique.
Hopes and dreams are just like New Year's Resolutions. Not knowing how to make things happen and not having a plan to put those things into action will guarantee their failure.
Yes, you need your hopes and dreams to motivate you but you also need to learn the basics of internet marketing and a plan to achieve success.
